While on Easter break, Sarah, Kate and I went to Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday's. We also took a cruise on a boat that had won the Sydney-Hobart Regatta race twice. This boat took us on a two day cruise to see part of the Great Barrier Reef which was amazing and we went to Whitehaven Beach which was so beautiful.
This was a sign we found on the door of a tattoo parlor. It cracked me up!

The next few pictures are of the injuries we had all week.
First, Sarah hit some coral with her feet.
And Kate got REALLY sunburnt...

At Airlie Beach, they have a man-made lagoon that they use instead of a beach. It's so very nice!
The last night we were there, we went to a Mexican restaurant...these are EXTREMELY hard to find. We also got lucky, all cocktails were $7!! Woohoo Wednesday night!
It took Kate a LONG LONG time to finally tie this...
Our dessert...chocolate nachos. It's nachos covered in some sort of chocolate layer, then they add chocolate syrup, then powdered sugar, then vanilla ice cream, then whip topping and finally, some cherries. SO SO SO GOOD!!
After dinner, we went for a walk and got stuck in the rain and hid under playground equipment.
